I must be feeling that it's time for spring- despite the fact that it's 33*F outside, I've been walking around all day in shortsleeves cause if I put a jacket on over the top I started dying of a heatstroke.
I don't know what it is about March, but about half the school days so far I've forgotten my I-card (what I use to pay for lunch) at home- either in a different jacket pocket, on a bookshelf, or in my purse. So I've been having to pay with cash; rather annoying. I didn't have a problem the first two months, and now all of a sudden, bingo. *sigh*
Today must be crazy-people-dress-up day here at school. I didn't see anything about it on the schedule, but I've seen Mary Poppins (frilly white umbrella and all), a girl in a nightgown, another girl in a blonde pigtail wig, someone with a Cat in the Hat hat, a couple medieval-y looking dresses, a guy wearing Amish type clothing, and some other stuff I wasn't quite sure what they were. The girl in the wig is galloping around the Crossroads chasing people. Let's just say I'm trying to give them all a wide berth...

Maybe it's spring fever. . . .
ReplyDeleteI actually found out it was dress-up-like-a-literary-character-day, and if you talked to one of them you were on the road to winning a prize *sigh*
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of spring, I keep meaning to take a picture of the bleeding heart bushes in front of our house and posting them. They are huge and nearly in full blossom. I guess that is what happens when it is nearly 60 degrees for a week, not to rub it in since I hear it snowed in Rexburg last week still ;)
ReplyDeleteIt snowed Saturday night, but it all melted by Sunday afternoon. It's supposed to be 50* tomorrow and 53* on Wednesday.
