Stake Youth Talent Night

Peter had a busy evening last night as our stake held it's annual youth talent night. Our deacon's quorum advisor knows that we have turtles, so he asked us to bring one. We weren't sure how that would work out, but we put Greenstripe into a plastic bucket that she could see through and she had a great time. Lots of people were interested in her and she liked listening to all the music for the 2.5 hours were were there! Here is a picture of the display we made:

We also played a piano duet together: Galop from the Children's Musical Friend composed by Heinrich Wohlfahrt. We played it for a ward talent show a couple of years ago, but figured everyone would have forgotten what it sounds like by now. Peter was nervous since the gym was packed, but it went well and he got lots of cheers.

He also had to do a sing along as part of our ward's youth group and they did a compilation of funny takeoffs of "Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman." He wasn't very excited about doing it but it was really funny and turned out well. I guess it's good that he has to get out of his shell every so often since he's at home so much these days (pun intended).
