It's been windy pretty much every day since March started. I've gotten used to that, though I don't particularly like it. But now? Today we've got a steady wind of about 32 mph. That's just the regular wind speed, not even the gusts. Bleh.
You could come here - our regular wind speed today was 41 with gusts up to 55. Around Moses Lake, the county authorities told everyone to stay home because of white-out conditions (dust). Argonne is closed with power lines down, and two Mead schools may be closed tomorrow with power outages.
But I guess at least it hasn't been blowing since March.
Too bad we missed it. Peter loves the wind but I think that is only because we hardly get any here in Seattle. I remember what a relief it was to get to Provo my freshman year at BYU and not have to deal with the wind every day, especially in the winter.
Now we just have rain nearly every day, especially in the winter :(
Goodness, I knew after the fact it'd been windy in Spokane because of what people posted on Facebook, but that's a little scary. I used to love the wind too, hopefully the Rexburg experience hasn't completely killed that for me. Oh, but I like rain, maybe we could swap :)
