Ow.
Went to the dentist on Monday, expecting a regular tooth cleaning. That's how it started out. Once they were done, suddenly the dentist grabbed a nice big hypodermic needle (or at least something that looked like one) and started stabbing my upper gums. Soon, my whole upper lip and nose were completely numb, not to mention my gums. Then the dentist got the scissors. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! There was no pain, UNTIL the dentist found a spot that wasn't quite numb. Owee. Well, now I look somewhat like a normal human being, but all I could eat was soup, yogurt, and instant breakfast. I also managed to scrape through first semester with a 4.0 GPA. A 96% in Foods, a 98% in Geometry, 95% in Nutrition & Fitness, 96.726% in IPS, a 95.7% in Journalism (though it was an 89.9% until he remembered 100 points extra credit that I needed), and barley made it through English with a 90%. New classes this semester are PE, Integrated Communications (computer stuff), and Acting. I will add another post with recipes, because I think this one's too big already. Ok, bye bye.

Igggg, I'm sorry about your gums- I told you to brush! Owowowowow. Great job on your grades! :)
ReplyDeleteI DID brush!!!! And used the waterpik, and the listerine! SO THERE. The dentist said that it was my gums overgrowing my teeth. Nothing hard was pushing it back, like fingernail skin stuff, so it just kept growing. But, they're gone now, so I look normal again.
ReplyDeleteMaybe your gums were trying to make up for all your missing teeth? That sounded painful, glad it was you and not Peter ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the grades. Peter got a 4.0 for his first semester as well and should make the honor roll. They've changed most of his teachers for this semester though, so it's a little crazy but he has PE as well. Have fun with the acting class.
