Day 3

I rode the shuttle bus twice today. Just walking to the bus stop, my nose hairs froze (-15*F at 9:30 in the morning). He picked me up about 9:28, and the schedule said I should get to the Clark/Smith stop at 9:37 (where my classes are), but we got there nice and early about four minutes after I got on. Had my classes (used a serger, and was slightly less confused by the networking material I had read last night). Ate lunch, and bought a gallon of milk at The Crossroads, then shuttled home. So, time comparison: It usually takes me 15 minutes to walk to school, and it took the shuttle 4. It usually takes me 20 minutes to walk home, and it took the shuttle 2. Plus it's a heated shuttle *sighs in bliss*

I have a new favorite way to make hot cocoa, really because none of my glasses are microwave safe (at least, I don't want to chance it), I don't have a mug, and I really doubt double-walled thermoses should go in the microwave either. I just heated up a little over a cup of milk in a saucepan on the stove and dissolved in cocoa powder and honey as it warmed up, and then put it in my thermos. By the way, my thermos has a slight flaw- every time I slide the little plastic bit on top to close it again, cocoa drops erupt in all directions. I just put my hand over it before I close it.

Lastly, I abhor reading textbooks. It took me at least two hours just to read 37 pages out of my Interiors textbook; I only kept from falling asleep by sitting in a hard chair, playing exciting loud instrumental music, and taking deep breaths. On the plus side, I got 100% on the quiz that I had to take tonight on that chapter!
