I never know what to put for the stupid titles...

I didn't go to my regular church meetings yesterday cause I had a sore throat, but later I was feeling better and went to two other meetings. My bishop called me in at 3:30 for an interview (not that I got to see him until 4:30), and I got called to be a visiting teaching coordinator. After that we had a stake training meeting from 5 till 6:15; we had cream puffs as refreshments in the visiting teaching leadership group :)
Last night we had a bunch of people over for dinner; I cooked the pasta and Mel made the pasta sauce, then all of us pigged out on hot cocoa, and ice cream with dark chocolate sauce. After that we all just sat around the living room talking for hours.
Today I somehow managed to sleep in an hour and a half, through two different alarms (oops), so I missed my first class. Luckily a lot of people have the same first two classes as I do, so I asked Chris if we did anything earth-shattering in web design and he said he'd email me his notes (yay!). In that class (CIT fundamentals), we go over the homework questions at the beginning of class. Bro Barzee looks at the roll and picks a different person to do each assigned question, but I don't think his way of picking can be very good because he's picked me to go up and do a problem three times in a row now *grin* Luckily I've had them all right so far. The problem I did today was where you had to write programming code to create a data output window. Bro Barzee said all that you needed was the code to create the window, but I'd also written the code to get the output in the first place. He told the whole class, "Now there is a good programmer. If any of you need help with anything, go to Antonia. If she's willing." He was teasing about the last bit. That was kind of fun :)
Tomorrow I have a presentation to do in my sewing class; in the afternoon I have a ticket to the devotional by Russell M. Nelson; in the evening we're eating dinner at Brandon's house; and at 9 o'clock at least Mel and I are planning to go see New Moon at the $2 theater. Luckily the rest of the week isn't that busy (yet).

  1. Wow, I'm impressed with your classroom story.

    So, who's Brandon?

Don't forget to use your Starving Student card (in case it's good at the movies).

  2. I have used my starving student card to get free crazy bread at Little Caesar's with Nicole; I'll have to check it for the movies. I'll do a post with pictures of my roommates and friends, since I can't put pictures in a comment.
